Job Purpose
Contribute with the management team in setting adequate levels of inventory. Continuously analyze, monitor and report on inventory levels, and recommend adjustments to ensure adequate timely supplies, eliminate unnecessary overstocking and write-offs.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Business Development and Supply Managers to anticipate the shelf-stock future needs based on the analyses of the inventory data, the sales history and the forecasted sales.
- Continuously monitor the inventory levels and the ROI.
- Closely monitor the new investments vs the forecasted return.
- Closely monitor the inventory liquidation plans and report on progress.
- Ensure that the inventory policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Inspect the levels of supplies to identify shortages, and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Propose, participate, formulate and execute inventory management improvement projects.
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
