We are a wood manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of high-quality, custom-made furniture and wooden products for residential and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a skilled wood Shop drawings engineer to join our team.

Job Description: Each candidate should be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for custom-made wood products. The ideal candidate should have experience in furniture design and manufacturing, as well as a strong understanding of materials, finishes, and hardware. In addition, the candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of wood pieces using CAD / Revit.
• Develop material specifications and create accurate Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs can be feasibly produced.
• Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality and consistency of designs.
• Rendering and creating presentations for the modeled items.
