We at ifm UAE are providing a unique and mutually lucrative opportunity to get in the ground floor of a fast growing organization in the Middle East, as a Marketing and Operations Intern, with the potential for a full-time permanent employment leading the Marketing Department for ifm UAE
1. Responsibility for communication / PR results
· Ensure maximum exposure of the ifm brand, products, applications and solutions within the technical publishing arena, both online and offline.
· Keep always in mind the sales goals of the group, and ensure activities support this.
· Feel and be responsible for the level of coverage (column inches) achieved both good and bad.
· Responsibility for ascertaining the amount of coverage (press cutting)
· Coordination of all written articles, responsibility for tone of voice used by any ifm employee / contractor
· Responsible for photography production where necessary
· Provide continuous feedback on results / activities
· Responsible for budget control and optimizing coverage / spend
· Raising paperwork, orders & coding invoices
· Sourcing feature lists from journals
· Sourcing potential new journals / websites
· Sending PR info to all relevant contacts on mailing list
· Update PR list (by category)
· Responses – Add accounts, contacts, print & send information
· Monitoring of responses & magazines
· Take all necessary steps (within professional and ethical limits) to ensure ifm is successful.
· Obtain and maintain a deep and purposeful knowledge of the MEA technical press
2. Responsibility for Social Media activities / results
· Create a plan for successful social media engagement
· Ensure all suitable information is disseminated across all relevant social media platforms
· Research the use of different and new social media channels
· Ensure all social media activity is beneficial to the companies goals
· Ensure timely deployment of articles for events / activities
· Responsible for growing ifm’s social media follower base
· Responsible for ensuring messages are optimized for audience
· Responsible for dealing with social ‘chatter’
3. General marketing Activities
· Assist in any other activities undertaken within the marketing department, this includes but is not restricted to;
· Advertising - both online and in print
· Events - organization, planning and fulfillment
· Printed documents (Catalogues, brochures, flyers, etc) development organization and use
· Mailings, production and deployment
· Corporate give aways, design, purchase and use
· Video production
· SEM, for example Google adwords
· Gifts & Giveaways – Ordering, unpacking & dispatch
· Printing for ifm staff (including large qty from tech info etc, problem solvers, water project books & industry folders).
· New Account Letters
· Business Cards
· Purchasing and distribution of sales tools
· Coding Invoices & raising purchase orders
· Assisting with on hold messages
· Amendment & Printing of posters & certificates
· Budgetary monitoring and reporting
· Coordination of newsletter including responses and literature requests
· Coordination of direct mail including responses and literature requests
· Assisting in exhibition coordination.
· Assisting in any other marketing activities.
