وظيفة Instruments Engineer

تفاصيل الوظيفة
  • Maintain plant production, efficiency, reliability and safe operation.
  • Develop and review the instrumentation assets maintenance strategy, programs, directions and procedures in compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, codes and standards, and best practices to ensure effective maintenance activities and optimum asset life cycle cost.
  • Develop, review, and implement the action plans, and implement maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, predictive, Inspection, and Performance Monitoring) – safely and efficiently to meet company and maintenance department targets and KPI’s.
  • Correctly manage and report all maintenance activities and assets data/records.
  • Troubleshoot, and Locate instrumentation assets’ faults and operating irregularities by applying the necessary diagnostic tests, measurements and analyses, and plan toward remedy.
  • Perform and participate in instrumentation assets risk assessments (RCA, HAZOP, Hazard Identification, etc..) and apply the appropriate mitigations to avoid any potential hazard.
  • Utilize Incident Management System with different Root Cause Analysis (RCA) technique.
  • Managing spare parts purchasing, developing and reviewing inventory list of instrumentation assets and spares, consumables, etc.., ensuring keeping an optimum min/max level to satisfy plant’s safe operating targets, while optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Perform detailed analysis of historical reliability data and through the identification of equipment vulnerabilities, to ensure plant vulnerability and reliability issues are addressed, investigated, and effective action plans are developed.
  • Use Management of Change System (MOC) in all instrumentation activities improvements and modifications.
  • Closely manage contractor staff (Engineers and Technicians), and graduates to accomplish tasks safely, efficiently, timely while meeting company quality standards while developing their competencies.
  • Ensure contractor/service providers are aware of the Responsible Care requirements including attending safety programs, using the correct gears and tools, following company’s procedures, and awareness of high-risk activities and mitigations to enhance safety performance.
متطلبات الوظيفة
  • Bachelor dregree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering or equivalent. 
  • At least 6 years’ experience in the area of Instrumentation in ASU, Oil, Gas or Petrochemical Plants.
  • Excellent knowledge of work permit systems requirements and  Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
  • Proven experience in Instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance as well as reliability applicable concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Instrumentation maintenance strategies and Engineering Standards.
  • Good knowledge of maintenance,operation of ASU instrumentation,operation of analyzers,  operation of valves and other final control elements.
  • Good knowledge of maintenance, industrial PLCs and Fire and Gas sensors systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of maintenance and operation of transmitters and other sensing elements and field measurement devices.
  • Very good command in English.
  • Very good PC and Microsoft Office skills, including ability to use MS Office and incident reporting software.
  • Self-motivated and has high analytical capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to develop and present plans and actions.
