Oh hey there.

We run a staffing agency — one of our Clients is looking to hire an Industrial Designer in Egypt. The team is super fun and very sharp.

Your job would be to design physical products.

This is a work-from-home job :) but you will be expected to be fully responsive on Slack until 5pm (17:00) EST, Mon-Friday, along with any emergencies, on weekends.

Salary range: You'll be paid in U.S. Dollars at the rate of $950 - $1100 USD/month (23400 - 27150 EGP/month [we're aware that the exchange rate is volatile — you'll receive your pay in USD]).

Company:

• The Client is an NYC-based, fast-growing, venture-backed startup, and they have a series of brands that focus on activities around daily life at home: cooking, organizing, and maintaining a space, etc. They make cool stuff tbh.

Responsibilities:

• Your main responsibility is to take a project from the initial brief to production
• You'll be responsible for utilizing consumer research to drive design concepts and refinement
• You'll also be in charge of developing compelling concept/mood boards to inspire creative ideation
• You will have to generate a multitude of ideas to address design briefs

The interview process will be a video submission, then a written submission, then 2 live interviews. In total, the entire interview process shouldn't take you more than 1-2 hours.

Salary range: $950 - $1100 USD / month (23400 - 27150 EGP/month [we're aware that the exchange rate is volatile — you'll receive your pay in USD]).

As a head's up, you'll be expected to be responsive on Slack during U.S. working hours.
