About you

Educational Background :

• Computer Engineering or a related field

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 6 years of relative hands-on experience, 3 to 5 in ELK is required.
• Proficient with Elastic Stack components, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats & Observability (APM, MetricBeat, HeartBeat..etc) is required.
• Well-versed with Java REST client API.
• Good Kubernetes knowledge.
• Good DevOps tools knowledge.
• Ability to lead virtual teams to achieve required objectives.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced.
• Strong Analytical and Communication skills.
• Fluent English Speaker.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python knowledge.
• On-premises Elastic Cloud Enterprise knowledge.
• Memory management, fine-tuning etc.
• Familiarity with Java is a plus.
• Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems is a plus.
• Experience with Grok.
• Good understanding of Agile values, principles & practices.

Other Skills :

Fluent in English (speaking and writing)  

French is a plus.

• OBSIT is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Elastic Stack (ELK) Engineer to join the Elastic as a Service team.
• Elastic as a Service is a fast-growing OBSIT service that utilizes Elasticsearch technology for the development of many use cases like Logs, Observability, APM, and Non-SQL DB.
• The Elastic Stack Engineer will use Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, FileBeats, MetricBeats, APM and possibly other Elastic Stack components to design and implement Elastic solutions.
