Prepare a Conceptual Framework of the Center of Education for Sustainable Development
Liaise and network with other centers at HU in order to establish a functional Community of Practice
Focal person for all CBL activities (technical)
Identify and recommend new activities and structures, with input from team members and the advisory board such as a coaching and mentoring unit, and future ESD priority areas
Initiate and maintain ESD team-building activities and events on an on-going basis
Lead a team for Reflective Processes and Practices (RPP)
Initiate & lead Lessons Learned (LL) and Best Practices (BP) exercises with designated team members
Develop, together with team members, measures/indicators for success as relevant
Revisit current and future roles of the team and their relevant level of effort, and recommend new members as needed
Lead the process of a new study guide for the ESD program
Secondary Roles
Participate in relevant meetings on regular basis such as Advisory/ Visionary Group (AD) meetings, Pedagogical meetings (PED), and board meetings as required
Participate, as relevant, in weekly meetings of current and future community development projects (e.g., 13 villages and Greening the Desert (GTD) ‘Wahat’ projects),
Participate, as relevant, in on-site field visits
Provide HU President with reports as needed (part of the Director’s role)
Co-teaching Core Course on Communication Skills (not valid anymore)
