As a Junior Data Engineer specializing in Data Warehouse (DWH) pipeline development, you will work closely with our experienced data engineering team to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for our data warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of data from various source systems into the DWH, making it accessible for analytical and reporting purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and source systems. Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the DWH.
Data Transformation: Perform data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment tasks to ensure data quality and consistency within the DWH.
Pipeline Optimization: Continuously optimize and monitor data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues in a timely manner.
Data Modeling: Assist in designing and maintaining data models within the data warehouse, ensuring they meet business reporting and analytical needs.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
Quality Assurance: Implement data validation and testing procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL process.
Security and Compliance: Ensure that data access and storage adhere to security and compliance standards and best practices.
Collaboration: Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other data engineering team members to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
