Job Description:
The Code Masr Band Social Media Intern will support the development and execution of the band's social media strategy. This role will assist in all aspects of the band's social media presence, from content creation to engagement and community management. The Social Media Intern will work closely with the Marketing Director and the band's Social Media Manager to gain hands-on experience in executing a successful social media strategy for a growing music band.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy for Code Masr Band
- Support the creation and curation of high-quality content for Code Masr Band's social media accounts, including text, images, video, and other multimedia formats
- Help manage the band's social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and any other relevant social media platforms
- Engage with Code Masr Band's followers and community on social media, responding to comments and messages under the supervision of the Social Media Manager
- Analyze social media metrics and assist in preparing regular reports to the Marketing Director and band members on the performance of the band's social media efforts
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to the band's marketing efforts
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and other social media personalities under the supervision of the Social Media Manager to increase the band's reach and engagement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and assist in recommending changes to the band's social media strategy as needed.
The intern will learn:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, including leveraging the latest social media trends and platforms.
- Content creation, including writing, curating, and creating multimedia content for social media platforms.
- Managing social media accounts, including engagement and community management.
- Analyzing social media metrics and using performance data to optimize the band's social media efforts.
- Collaborating with other members of a marketing team and working with influencers and other social media personalities.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and making recommendations for changes to the band's social media strategy.
- Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with exposure to the music industry and the inner workings of a growing music band.
