The Business Development Specialist’s role is to assist clients in identifying their development needs through a comprehensive diagnosis and extend full range of development programs that suit their identified development needs. Working under the supervision of the BRC Manager, the incumbent is expected to take a leading role in project development and Management; promote the initiatives of the BRCs Component to stakeholders; coordinate & monitor the activities of projects under his/her responsibility; and carry out the necessary support activities to achieve the highest impact on client’s KPIs.

Responsibilities
- Recruit new clients and assist in their registration with IMC; ensure to have legal documentation of registration in coordination with the admin staff.
- Prepare contract documentation and obtain approvals.
- Maintain files and information in good order in collaboration with the admin staff.
- Communicate with registered and non-registered clients in the related region for updating the IMC database.
- Filed visits for targeted clients to introduce the IMC approach to technical support
- Assess legible BCs technically, managerially, and financially, and identify their business needs and areas for business development,
- Develop the scope of suggested projects and Customize the TOR for each project in alignment with the BC situation and size in cooperation with the domain expert or programme manager.
- Form part of the evaluation team to assess proposals.
- Coordinate kick-off, follow-up, and closure meetings for each project to assure commitments and quality of service as per TOR.
- Revises technically delivered deliverables against TOR in cooperation with a domain expert or programme manager.
- Monitor the project's life and implementation and solve any related problems.
- summarizes all lessons learned as "success stories" upon project completion.
- Evaluate completed projects in accordance with TOR in order to assess their impact and provide inputs for further analysis.
- Contribute to new component initiatives and Sectorial project meetings;
- Report regularly on progress to the branch manager and revise and prepare all the required technical documents and approvals for project payments to be submitted to the accounting department.
- Share field data per subsector with the aim of improving the existing laws and policies that affect the industrial community in cooperation with sector heads.
- Assist in developing the needed reports, monitor BRC results, and submit a monthly tracking report.
- Act as a mentor for junior BRC staff in any technical or administrative duties.
- Build a tracking payment sheet to ensure the effectiveness of handling payments inside the BRC and submit a weekly tracking report to the BRC manager.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
