1- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fully assist the Media Unit team in multiple tasks within the Mass Communications Department, such as managing the department’s studios and working with the students in extracurricular activities.
2- DUTIES:
· Prepare media equipment for students to use in their curricular and extracurricular activities under the supervision of the Media and Production unit Lead and manage the equipment loan and return process.
· Manage and create content for MCOMS social media platforms.
· Co-manage media production activities (both curricular and extracurricular) within Mass Comms Department and oversee the students during working on the extracurricular activities outside and inside studios.
· Supervise all Mass Communications facilities.
· Assist in planning and preparing for department events, open houses, and visits.
· Assist with the Mass Communications department in shooting and producing videos and photos for several uses.
· Organize fun activities for the Mass Communications students.
· Lead the Mass Communications students in doing complete media coverage for the university’s event.
· Assess the Media and Production Unit needs.
3- JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
• Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications.
• Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience.
• Skills:
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word – PowerPoint – Excel)
Basic Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere – Photoshop – Lightroom – Illustrator – InDesign).
- Photography and videography skills (including using cameras and lights).
- Ability to work on any multimedia application for creating social media content.
- Full professional fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Fast learner.
- Highly Organized.
- Good time management skills.
