Art Director

The Art director will contribute professional value in leading the creative team across the wide scope and diversified domains of the creative department. The Art professional role would be extended from the technical creative supervision, quality control, and team development up to strategic advancement of the creative department; including growth plans and capabilities/capacity optimization strategies.
This leadership role includes assigning teams, inspiring those teams to consistently produce exceptional concepts and final work, and working closely with account management and project management teams to ensure Caduceus Lane’s world-class clients are deferentially satisfied with our delivered creative quality, the value of our services, and our responsiveness to their needs.
The Art director will oversee the company’s creative function and team, ensuring the development of products are high-quality, artistic, and creative for our leading clients. This team includes team leaders, creative designers, multimedia artists, 3D artists, and supportive copywriters. The Art Director develops clients’ comprehensive promotions campaigns, conceptualizes ideas, assigns and coordinates tasks with staff and partners, and verifies deadlines are being met.
Your responsibility will be integrated into collaboration with other department heads. You will lead the different team leaders and will report directly to the company's senior management.
Professional Responsibilities
A. Creative Domain
- Lead the creative team in the development of concepts and execution of all projects Actively lead/participate in every aspect of creative design and development
- Set quality standards for the department to serve the high professional requirements of the multinational profile of clients across different markets
- Set creative department technical guides, creative protocols, and professional norms among the creative team.
- Manage and work independently under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects
- Estimate creative development time-frames and costs
- Assign creative teams best suited for selected projects based on ability and workload.
- Manage workloads to maximize productivity.
- Working from a brief with the account/project management, the marketing team, and the medical team, to
- Estimating the time required to complete the work across different creative teams as per the projects time frame to ensure delivery as be the required quality standards
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the project's professional requirements
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to account managers and the marketing team
- Ensure the value of the ideation process and advancement of concepts to a next creative level
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches
- Working on creative layouts and art working pages ready for print
- Ensure advanced layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video, and sound.
B. Management Domain
- Support account and project management activities as needed
- Establish trust with internal stakeholders and confidence in the creative team’s capabilities
- Develop positive and sustainable relationships with other professionals in different departments
- Work with other departments’ management to achieve the ambitious growth plans of the company
- Experience in recruitment, managing and mentoring a team, and developing effective working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- A desire to engage with and contribute to an existing culture, process, and portfolio of activity.
- Provide written and face-to-face feedback for quarterly and annual performance reviews, as well as ongoing feedback throughout the year (written when requested).
- Interview prospective creative candidates
- Assure that all creative personnel is trained and, where needed, mentored to maintain the standards and expectations of Caduceus Lane and the client, and to meet their own career goals.
